A chance to ride and learn with one of the worlds top trainers! Peter Maddison-Greenwell, director of El Caballo de Espana. Peter is travelling from England to make an appearance in our exhibition extravaganza and to offer the benefit of his expertise to a limited number of students.

Peter Maddison-Greenwell has ridden and trained horses for over thirty-five years. El Caballo de España has worked with top dressage riders and competition judges and is well regarded by both. Pathfinder Dressage published by JA Allen quotes Peter Maddison-Greenwell as one the the worlds top trainers, devoting a chapter to his techniques and philosophies, placing him alongside such highly respected authorities as Arthur Kottas, Franz Rochwansky, Conrad Schumacher, Vicki Thompson, Charles Harris and many more.

In 1986 Peter joined The British Association for the Purebred Spanish Horse, then in it's infancy. He served as vice president and then president for seven years resigning in 2001 to dedicate more time to his developing business.  He is now recognised as one of the countries leading authorities on managing and training Stallions in particular the Spanish and Portuguese. Peter trains in all levels of Doma Clasica (Classical Dressage) including Alta Escuela (High School), Competition Dressage and Doma Vaquera.

The emphasis on training both horse and rider is based on many years experience and a balance of beliefs and principals that put Peter Maddison-Greenwell amongst the worlds top trainers. His philosophy and personality, combined with a sound depth of knowledge and riding ability makes him absolutely unique in the equestrian world.  Nowhere in England can you see so many Spanish, Lusitano and other breeds trained to such a high level of classical and competition dressage as well as Doma Vaquera.

Peter is a well known international dressage trainer who currently teaches a wide variety of horses and riders from beginners who are looking to start their dressage education to internationally competitive Grand Prix riders looking to perfect their piaffe and passage. All levels, abilities, and breeds are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Peter can work with you on all areas of Classical dressage including in-hand work, Doma Vaquera & Garrocha.
